Ultrasound
We got to go see our little on in utero yesterday... always such an amazing experience. Our doctor's office had added a new feature (since last year, when I was there... hehe) of a big flat screen tv in the ultrasound room, so we got to see Baby #3 on that- lots of detail. Our tech was great at letting us see the baby and just watch for a little bit. AND our OB now gives us DVDs of our ultrasound, so we can re-watch it whenever we want. Pretty cool.

So I know for those reading, y'all could care less about all that and more about what our results were.... so here ya go.

We are naming her Sabriel (that's with a short "a" sound, like apple)... and yes, it's another literary name. If you can tell me the name of the author of the book that her name comes from - WITHOUT doing any sort of internet search, I will send you a prize! ;)

(And if no one knows off of the top of their head- I'll pick a random person.) :)

Congratulations! that is ever so exciting!!

Sabriel is a beautiful name. I do not need a prize if I am right because I know nothing about this book but I remember seeing a book with this title from an guy named Nix. It was a part of a series i think... sort of a fantasy premise if i recall right. I may be all wrong... I spend way too much time in the library and bookstores.

I agree it's a pretty name...very unique too. I'm going to say it's from a series by Nix, because I read it in previous comments. But I would most definitely love a prize if you would like to randomly pick me. Oh pick me! Pick me!! Your prizes I bet are so much fun. I'm not above begging for a prize. Me love prizes.

Congrats again...that's cool to see babies on big screens. Maybe by the time we have grandbabies, they'll have it set up like a drive-in movie. The family can come and no one will even have to get out of the car. And the screen will be enormous!!

I know Sabra in Hebrew is like a thorn for the cactus pears..I love cactus pears in Italy they are all over my dad would peel them for me. I know that much because my Jewish friend's Dad calls me Sabra! I guess I am like a thorn? LOL! But anyhow that is both different and beautiful and so thoughtful of 2 parents to really research a name with love. Hugs
